Our History

We’ve been leaders in aviation since 1950.

The Stevens Aerospace story begins back in the 1940s when J.P. Stevens and Company, one of the era’s largest textile makers, recruited a team of aviation experts to maintain their small fleet. Word quickly spread of the team’s dedication to service and personal approach to aircraft maintenance, and it wasn’t long before other owner-operators were bringing their airplanes to Greenville, South Carolina. By 1950, Stevens Aviation was born, and we’ve been ascending ever since. Explore our milestones below to learn more about the key moments that made us who we are today.

Our Team

We wouldn’t be who we are today without our people.

Meet the team behind the takeoffs. For more than 70 years, our people have been pouring their time, passion, and proficiency into every repair, installation, and upgrade that comes their way. They feel a sense of pride every time they see a customer take off — we feel the same every time we look out into the hangar.

Embraer Phenom Owner/Operator

With Stevens, I’ve got a guy who knows everything there is to know about Embraer. A team who I trust, who I know are on my side. Their #1 concern is that I’m a happy customer with a safe airplane.

It’s good to work with a team that knows these aircraft and commercially speaking, “gets” the concept. We feel with this facility and resources, it’s a good team to both market the airplane and bring it to market condition.

Everything is always on time and goes as planned, communication is smooth, and I couldn’t ask for anything more from a maintenance facility.
